About Us:

We are a rapidly growing micromobility company specializing in electric scooter rentals. Our mission is to make urban transportation more sustainable and accessible. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated Accounting Analyst to focus on maintaining accurate and compliant accounting processes within our organization.

Position Overview:

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of our accounting systems while streamlining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all financial records.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and support compliance with all regulatory accounting requirements.
• Collaborate with the operations team to track expenses, inventory, and revenue specific to our scooter rental model.
• Ensure the accurate handling and documentation of fixed assets, including depreciation schedules for our fleet of scooters.
• Support internal control initiatives to strengthen accounting procedures and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in reviewing tax filings and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role, with a strong understanding of core accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English (mandatory)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the transportation, rental, or subscription service industries.
• Familiarity with managing fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Experience working with high-volume transactional environments.
