Roles & Responsibilities - Common DutiesUpdation of trackers
Month/Year End close activities
Co ordinate and liaise with Line of Business/Affiliates, Ensuring meeting SLA terms and Conditions at all times
Ensure all reports are collated and sent across ontime
Ensure compliance with policies and practices
Perform through quality assurance on documents to ensure consistency and quality is maintained throughout
Reduce dependence on Supervisors input
Effectively Coach/Counsel others
Participating in team events/initiatives
Performing the team building activities
Global Accounts Receivable
Clearing incoming payments
Requesting payment advise from CSRs
Through follow up on the unapplied, partially applied and unidentified payments for a faster resolution
Handling/administration of Generic and process specific mailboxes
Inter-company payment clearings
Maintaning/updating payments
AR monthly reporting, AR Reconciliation, AR Upload to SALSA.
Handling Rebates and commission
Reversal of incorrect entries/ upon the CSR's request
Credit management Responsibilities – Credit limit review (Annual and adhoc) and reporting
Customer dunning for overdue invoices
Update Transfer Prices in SAP and analysis of TP prices
Proactive involvement in the projects
Responsibilities as a AR Team LeaderEnsure all tasks are completed with good quality within the time stipulated against each of them
Ensure all mails on shared mailboxes and all other queries are answered within the time stipulated under the SLA or as agreed within the department
Ensure all tasks are continuously optimised/standardised
Requirements and work experienceDegree in Accounts / Finance
5+ years of work experience in financial domain and proficient knowledge of financial accounting
- 2 years of work experience in leading operations teams, process transition or process optimization
Strong MS office skills
Fluent in written and spoken English (moderate levels)Spanish is a plus.
