As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure for high-demand production environments. You will drive best practices in infrastructure automation, observability, and scalability, working closely with development teams to streamline operations and improve delivery processes.
✅ Must-Have Skills- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing and architecting cloud infrastructure in production environments.
- Deep expertise in AWS (or another major cloud provider), including networking, security, and cost optimization.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes, including workload scaling and orchestration (experience with KEDA or Karpenter is a big plus).
- Solid knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Datadog, or Grafana.
- Experience designing or operating Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) to support engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills in English (B2+), capable of working directly with U.S.-based stakeholders.
- Availability to work full-time on a long-term engagement.
