Pharma Business Dev Specialist III - They maintain customer relations, develop growth opportunities, recover lost customers, and gain new accounts.
They ensure market penetration, profitability, and achieve sales and profit forecasts.
Main Responsibilities:Identify sales opportunities by developing an actionable plan to visit end users in the assigned vertical.
Identify, cultivate, and implement potential new accounts to increase market presence, generate demand, and expand brand recognition in the pharmaceutical industry.
Develop and maintain effective customer relations with purchasing and end users within Brazil.
Meet AOP numbers and achieve annual sales; operate within expense budget guidelines & policies.
Independently make decisions, but also apply available resources to meet customer needs and work effectively with a cross-functional team of suppliers and internal resources.
Perform sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers.
Stay updated on competitor and industry activity, new products/services, and other customer-relevant information.
Incorporate this data into the business plan.
Handle pricing and negotiate within territory to control profitability.
Maintain meticulous reporting, records, and files vital for accurate management of territory.
Connect with the supervisor regarding any customer issues or potential problems, and perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
Advise customers of supply and price trends and assist in inventory control, consulting with customers.
Follow up diligently on leads received from other areas/divisions of the organization.
Function as a segment specialist; understand market issues & trends impacting the Pharma segment of the market & bring strategic direction to grow the business.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel (50%-75%).
Proficient English language skills - oral and written.
Preferred Qualifications:Consistency, precision, and listening skills.
Desire to continuously improve and progress into new responsibilities.
Previous experience in a life sciences company.
Experience:+5 years of Sales experience in the Pharma industry, desirable in microbiology.
Demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies and guide successful execution of sales strategies and new product introduction, including the development/optimization of sales channels.

Success ProfileEducation & Knowledge: Bachelors degree in microbiology or equivalent experience (Pharmaceutical background).
High degree of technical competence and confidence.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
