The Opportunity

This position works out of our São Paulo Offices, requiring full availability for the presential mode, in the Corporate Human Resources team. The position is performed as an individual contributor (not a people manager), counting on the support of the broader local HR organization in specific needs and projects, while truly requiring a make-it-happen and genuine hands-on profile.

As a Business Human Resources Manager you will offer consultancy and act as a facilitator on the HR process assuring the internal client’s needs are being analyzed and fulfilled in accordance with the HR local and global policies and guidelines.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify all related HR needs (training and development, compensation, benefits, performance management, recruiting and selection, etc.) with the internal clients proposing solutions or project development complying with the local and global HR policies and guidelines.
  • Offer consultancy in the human resources management to the leaders analyzing and evaluating the attitude and proposing specific actions to adequate the leadership style to the company culture.
  • Monitor and participate in the implementation of HR projects and systems together with the internal clients, assuring the appropriate use of all available resources and tools.
  • Participate in the business strategic planning, incorporating human resources actions and projects to support the business to achieve the expected results.
  • Partner with external vendors and HR consulting companies to attend the client’s needs in projects with high volume based on the cost x benefit analysis.
  • Facilitate and monitor the individual performance process, offering support to the managers and gathering information to define development programs.
  • Develop and facilitate internal training related to HR processes in order to attend the business needs. Additionally, partner with L&D team in the elaboration and/or adaptation of the training contents defined by corporate.
  • Offer support to employees and leaders in the Development Plan process.
  • Support leaders in the understanding of the Talent Management Review process. Help leaders to identify key talents and establish the appropriate succession plans.
  • Run the expatriate processes (including the necessary documentation) aligned with Abbott Talent Deployment and local law.
  • Be a focal point for employees relations matters.
  • Guarantee leaders have knowledge about the on boarding process (30/60/90) and support them in the development of new employees ‘plans.
  • Comply with policies and procedures relating to its activity in accordance with the assumptions of the business.
  • Conduct the actions and decisions under the responsibility of respecting the office Code of Business Conduct business.

Qualifications

Education background
  • University graduate in Business Administration, Psychology or related fields
  • Post-graduation in business or human resources areas desirable

The major and impactful experience/skills/competences are:

  • Sound experience and track of records in Managerial/Senior Specialist Human Resources positions (preferably in generalist roles)
  • Broad exposure and solid/proven knowledge in all main HR sub-systems (Labor and Union Relations expertise highly desirable, in addition to the other HR sub-systems)
