Tax Planning Specialist , Tax Planning

This role will report to the Senior Tax Planning Manager and will be responsible for executing sophisticated tax planning strategies while ensuring full compliance with Brazilian tax regulations.

• Execute complex tax planning analyses and provide technical recommendations
• Perform detailed research on tax legislation and develop technical positions
• Conduct thorough analysis indirect taxes, including ICMS, PIS/COFINS and ISS
• Analyze tax implications of business transactions and provide detailed technical reports
• Support tax controversy matters with technical analysis and documentation
• Contribute to tax risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Prepare complex tax calculations and review tax declarations
• Mentor junior tax analysts and provide technical guidance
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
• Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department- 2+ years of maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex) experience
