What You’re Getting Yourself Into
As an Account Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their email marketing campaigns meet expectations. You'll manage communications, provide updates, and keep everything on track while collaborating with the internal team of email marketing specialists to hit deadlines.With a keen eye on project scope, you'll set boundaries to keep things running smoothly and identify opportunities to further enhance client success through upsells. Plus, you’ll make sure assets and approvals are timely, adjusting plans when needed to ensure campaigns continue to deliver results.
This is a fully remote contractor role of 20 hours per week. Working hours cover the MT timezone.

- Cultivate and nurture client relationships, focusing on retention marketing through email and SMS, while ensuring clients' objectives are met and exceeded
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and proactive communication through daily emails, weekly updates, and monthly strategic meetings
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and keeping everything on track
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, recognizing potential upsells and driving overall retention
- Use tools like ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace to manage projects, coordinate with clients, and ensure smooth communication across teams
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- You have 2+ years of experience in client account management, particularly in retention marketing, with a focus on email, SMS, or loyalty programs
- You have a proven ability to manage project scope, set boundaries, and ensure tasks are completed on time, even without a dedicated project manager
- You’re adept at identifying upsell opportunities and understanding client needs to expand service offerings
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in a strategic, solution-oriented approach to client challenges
- You have a proven track record of driving client growth and success, achieving measurable results through strategic digital marketing initiatives
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple client projects efficiently
- You are available to work within MT hours to ensure smooth communication with both clients and the internal team
- You thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment, showing exceptional time management and project coordination abilities
- You have prior experience in remote work, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a virtual work environment
