This is a remote position.
They're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Engineer to join their growing B2B GTM consultancy. You'll partner closely with their lead consultant to design, deploy, and manage sophisticated automation workflows, leveraging cutting-edge low-code platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make) and advanced AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). You will play a critical role as their primary technical expert, ensuring our solutions are robust, reliable, secure, and seamlessly integrated into enterprise client environments.
Responsibilities
Workflow Reliability & Troubleshooting:
- Own the health, stability, and troubleshooting of GTM automation workflows post-deployment.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring uninterrupted client operations.
Enterprise Deployment & Security:
- Lead the deployment of automation workflows within diverse enterprise infrastructures, navigating complex IT environments confidently.
- Address client-side security, compliance, and IT infrastructure questions and concerns.
Version Control & Development Best Practices:
- Implement and oversee robust version control strategies (Git/GitHub), including merges, pull requests, reviews, and rollback procedures.
- Establish and maintain software development lifecycle standards and best practices.
Technical Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate directly with our team of consultants, translating high-level business processes and sales methodologies into reliable and scalable automated workflows.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within our existing automations and AI integration strategies.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Software Developer, Automation Engineer, or similar role focused on workflow automation.
- Proven expertise in low-code automation platforms (especially n8n), including advanced troubleshooting and complex workflow deployment.
- Deep understanding of B2B software go-to-market and practical experience implementing automation solutions in sales enablement, CRM optimization, lead routing, and pipeline management.
- Hands-on experience in Revenue Operations within B2B SaaS environments or experience in Big 4 or Tier 2 consulting firms focusing on sales process optimization
- Hands-on experience deploying software and automation workflows in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker, Linux, and CLI.
- Deep understanding of enterprise-level IT security and compliance requirements, preferably in the financial or health industries where security and compliance are crucial and complex.
- Strong proficiency with GitHub and software development lifecycle management, including version control, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of confidently interacting with technical stakeholders at client companies.
