Senior Database Administrator (DBA) - Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server databases, as well as expertise in automation and scripting.

Responsibilities: Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server databases in production, test, and development environments.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Backup and Recovery: Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for database automation tasks, including backups, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Security: Implement and manage database security policies to protect sensitive data.
Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, providing support to application developers and other stakeholders.
Capacity Planning: Plan and manage database capacity to ensure scalability and performance.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs and other team members.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a DBA in a mission-critical production environment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle (versions 10g to 21c), MySQL, and SQL Server (versions 2000 to 2022).

Strong scripting skills in SQL/T-SQL, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and Linux/Unix shell scripting.
Experience with database management and monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL Server Management Studio.
Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
Familiarity with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.

Certifications: Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), and AWS Certified Database.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automation tools and frameworks.

Knowledge of database replication, clustering, and virtualization technologies.
