At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive our Latin America Partner Management strategy. The ideal candidate will lead relationships with key vendors, third-party service providers, and strategic partners to ensure operational excellence and compliance in alignment with Financial Services regulations.

This role requires a combination of strong partnership management, analytical capabilities, and strategic leadership skills to optimize our partner’s operations and drive an efficient business growth.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Management & Operations
  • Own and optimize the partners (vendors) workstream for Financial Services operations, aligning with Amazon's business goals, regulatory requirements, and operations standards
  • Support with partner selection and on-boarding, establishing operational framework, SLAs, relationship and incidents management processes, including crisis management and escalations
  • Develop, implement and monitor partner policies, joint procedures, and performance metrics while making data-driven recommendations for improvements to senior management
Cross-functional Leadership
  • Act as the primary point of contact between partners and internal stakeholders including Risk, Product Strategy, Business Operations, Customer Experience and Technical teams
  • Support the implementation of new partner initiatives and integration projects
  • Coordinate with Legal and Business Development teams on partner selection, contract management and compliance

A day in the life

You'll be pioneering the development of our partner management framework for Financial Services operations. Your days will focus on managing strategic relationships with services partners, and other technology vendors. You'll work closely with multiple stakeholders like Risk, Product, Legal, Operations, and other.

  • 8+ years of relevant Program Management experience
  • Proven track record of managing strategic partnerships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) and Portuguese (written and verbal)- Strong understanding of Financial Services, credit payments or Fintech regulations
  • Previous experience in launching and scaling products across Latin America
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)
