Planning Manager- International Imports, Instock Manager
This person will have responsibility for ensuring inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and implementing controls around these. The right candidate thrives in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
The Instock Manager will own driving improvement in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency, selection growth and improving purchasing processes. The successful candidate possesses a track record of successful implementation and execution of inventory management practices, leveraging strong analytical acumen and working with cross-functional teams.The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail. The candidate should be able to manage multiple vendors simultaneously and make sure items are always available to our customers in Brazil.

Key job responsibilities
The Planning Manager for International Imports will drive and design solutions to improve operational excellence creating role model scalable processes. Their main goal is to ensure Amazon will have inventory available to fulfill customer’s needs with minimum working capital to support the growth of international selection.

The right candidate thrives in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar Supply Chain/Operations discipline;
- Experience in supply chain, inventory management, retail and/or consulting project management experience;
- Highly analytical individual, experience working with complex data set;
- Flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting, and comfortable with computer databases and tools;
- Strong ownership, data analysis, problem solving and project management skills;
- Ability to understand the needs and drive alternative solutions for operational processes;
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.- Experience with purchasing or inventory management in e-commerce or retail;
- Experiencing working with imported products and imports supply chain and operational processes
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma;
- Business Reporting/SQL experience.
