Senior Safety Manager (Automotive Industry)

Share People Hub, in partnership with a global automotive company, is searching for a Senior Safety Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • The Senior Safety manager is responsible to set principles, frameworks, processes and measures to release an item free of unreasonable risk when operated in an intended context as per ISO 26262 for customer developments;
  • Create a proper interface between the relevant customer contact partners and the safety team;
  • Gather the expectations from customer and transfer them to safety team and monitor them for their achievement.
  • Coordinate the safety activities for a project safety development.
  • Monitor the agreement taken between customer and the safety team.
  • Coordinate the safety activities (ISO-26262 Parts 2, 4, 5, 6).
  • Responsible for Safety Plan.
  • Responsible for DIA.
  • Monitor and control the safety activities according safety plan and/or DIA.
  • Escalate deviation to the safety plan and/or DIA.
  • Monitor parties and suppliers that deliver the work products on time.
  • Get metrics about the status of the safety activities.
  • Report periodically the status of activities.
  • Gather safety cases and safety release recommendation.
  • Impact analysis of processes open points.
  • Responsible of the component safety release recommendation.
  • Contact partner for audit/assessment topics.
  • Coordinate the audit and confirmation review activities (ISO-26262:2 6).
  • Responsible for safety audit/assessment plan.
  • Responsible to analyze the processes open points and provide possible solutions.
  • Responsible for creation of templates.
  • Review the release recommendations. Review the requirement for the correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO26262.

What you'll need:

  • University degree in courses related to Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics;
  • Domain in project management and customer interface;
  • Experience in der ePowerTrain, JPEV, EMI/EMC;
  • Experience in ISO 26262-Engineering;
  • Experience in quality standards;
  • Core tools: IBM Rational Doors, HP ALM, Jira, Configuration Management (SVN).
