Your role and responsibilities
Job Description: We are looking for a Service Sales Manager to join our team. The profes-sional will be responsible for ensuring the execution of the sales strategy for the complete portfolio of the Marine & Ports Division for the country, through planning, leadership, and development of the sales organization, aiming to achieve qualitative and quantitative goals for projects and services profitably, exceeding sales objectives and ensuring cus-tomer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:Create, plan, and implement sales strategies and initiatives for business development, in alignment with the global strategy.
Establish and achieve sales targets through regular supervision and definition and im-plementation of improvement plans as required.
Identify opportunities in new, existing, and potential customers within a defined geo-graphic area and determine, when necessary, acquisition plans and resource allocation.Ensure achievement of objectives by monitoring, providing information and reports on Sales and Market Intelligence to top management.
Ensure efficient marketing communications and establish customer relationships, sup-porting the development of strong relationships with key customers and key decision-makers.
Continuously manage costs, ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix goals, establishing appropriate pricing and margin for potential sales.Participate in key service contract negotiations.
Ensure leadership and people development in Sales area, seeking to maintain a healthy, organized environment with qualified and focused personnel.
Qualifications for the role- Education: Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Naval Engineering or Automation is highly desirable.
- Mandatory: Solid experience on sales in the offshore market.
- Mandatory: Experience in people management and availability for frequent travel.
- Differential: Experience in negotiating service contracts
- Differential: Knowledge of ship electrical systems (generation, distribution and pro-pulsion) and digital services.
- Language: Fluent/Advanced English is required for conversation and writing.
