Senior Safety Engineer (Automotive Industry)

Share People Hub, in partnership with a global automotive company, is searching for a Senior Safety Engineer.

What you’ll do:

• Engineer is responsible to provide safety solution that fits with both High voltage and functional safety by the respective safety analysis . Requirement Engineer is the responsible to provide a technical solution that fits with the inputs requirements, is supported by the respective analysis and is developed as per applicable technical standards;
• Develop component functional and non-functional concepts for inverter up to 250kw electric motor or any other HV component in Electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles
• Defining & extracting requirements for E-power train components in battery electric vehicles and the plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
• Decompose requirements in different ASIL-Levels, if needed; according to ISO-26262.
• Review of Safety concepts for powertrain for the battery electric vehicles and the plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
• Review the requirement for the correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO26262.
• Defining and extract the HV requirements from the applicable legislations (Important: US; Europe, China).

What you'll need:

• University degree in courses related to Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics;
• Experience in der ePowerTrain, HPEV, Inverter, DCDC;
• Experience in chargers, batteries, HV safety norms;
• Experience in ISO 26262-Engineering;
• Experience in Requirements Engineering;
• Core tools: IBM Rational Doors, HP ALM, Jira, Configuration Management (SVN).
