Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data needs and deliver quality data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation checks and data profiling.
- Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
- Implement and manage data security protocols and compliance measures.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes and standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data engineering best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of data projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL tools such as Apache Spark, Talend, or similar.
- Familiarity with databases, both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for data solutions.
