Tintometer, Inc., based in Sarasota, FL, seeks a Sales Manager, LATAM to become part of the Lovibond team and help us in our commitment to achieve overall company goals in terms of revenue and profitability, image, reputation, and customer service.
Reporting to the Commercial Business Director, the Sales Manager, LATAM is responsible for delivering the overall sales growth associated with the Lovibond bench-top and hand-held instruments as well as consumables associated to the Water Market in Latin America.The position will be a hybrid role with responsibility for direct selling, key account management and management of our third-party distribution channel. The Sales Manager shall have demonstrated experience in all three areas.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, leadership, and influence skills to not only communicate our value proposition to end users, but to manage key accounts also and a team of third-party distribution partners. Lastly, the Sales Manager must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong competitive drive!
Percent of Travel Required: Up to 50%. Availability for international travels
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
- Identify target customers and key accounts in focus verticals and create outreach to build multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Carry out demonstrations and presentations to open new opportunities for customers.
- Carry out frequent visits to customers and sales channels across Latin America, seeking to understand the customer's business (internal and external).
- Identify and develop long-term relationships with distribution channels and strategic customers.
- Diligently manage the Sales Funnel using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
- Work with distribution channel and customers to identify key regional regulatory, applications, and product drivers and effectively communicate market needs to Tintometer leadership.
- Deliver sales activity reports and sales forecasts.
- Ability to collect and communicate information regarding market trends, regulatory trends, new application opportunities and new product opportunities from the field to the leadership team.
- Personally, or through other company resources, develop the technical depth in product and application knowledge as it applies to all Lovibond Products.
- Ability to collaborate and negotiate internally and externally to meet business goals.
Requirements
Experience, Skills & Knowledge- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience (5 years of sales/sales management experience.
- 5 years of experience working in sales or business development
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Availability for international travels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook)
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue
- Ability to coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Zoho, Salesforce or equivalent.
- Experience with analytical instruments.
Physical Requirements
The Sales Manager Position often requires extensive travel including long hours of driving and or flying. Additionally, the position can also include many hours of standing and walking at local and national trade shows and customer training and informational seminars.
