Vertical Sales Manager
Your team’s dynamic:
The Vertical Sales Manager (VSM) Brazil, Signature Brands, will manage sales and relationships with Systems Integrators, Distributors, End-Users in their vertical, Consultants, in the assigned vertical with focus in channels and projects. Your main role is to significantly increase revenues and market share in the assigned vertical and insure coordination with Brazil Leadership, and the Corporate Headquarters located in Montreal.
What your day will look like:
- Responsible for the business plan and the strategy of the Group Vertical, you will be presenting in 90 days the proposed 3 year plan and strategic partners for the Vertical, in order to discuss and approve the plan to get the desired results of the vertical in the current and following years
- Assist Brazil Sales Structure, develop and close business opportunities in your vertical in all Brazilian Territory and collaborate in conceiving, defining, developing and implementing business, marketing, sales plans and initiatives
- Help to keep the presence in the existing business and leverage the presence in the Brazilian territory communicating with local sales team and Business Development team in the headquarters, helping to create Bank & Retail knowledge base in order to replicate in other regions
- Consolidate the Businesses Case for each planned vertical in order to promote coordinate events and replicate the business for other end users
- Work closely with channel and Regional peers to achieve result as a team
- Responsible for the relationship and results in the assigned global accounts for the territory as well as the collaboration in the region for other verticals
- Generate demand by visiting large End Users presented by the partners at their premises and presenting Genetec’s global leadership, technology, experience and track-record. Making sure that our solutions will reach all the market levels
- Develop and manage strategic direct and Indirect Systems Integrator channel partners in your territory
- Manage forecasts and achieve objectives and quotas by tracking opportunities and keeping the pipeline updated into the CRM
- Follow the quoting process and assuming responsibility for the deliverables
- Track and report competitive issues in the region
- Monitor and report satisfaction levels from End-Users and Systems Integrators
- Coordinate End-User, Systems Integrator and Consultant sales, technical and operational training
- Acquire, maintain and report adequate knowledge of product, market and competition
- Keeps abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service
- Assist Corporate and/or Regional Marketing with, national or international initiatives in the group market
More about you:
- At least 5 years of sales experience with channels, end users, regions with a technical background of designing systems for complex integrated solutions, being responsible for sales quota and objectives
- At least 1 year of experience in Bank & Retail sales, pre-sales or business development.
- Fluent communicator in writing or face-to-face -- both in Portuguese and English
- Availability to travel at least 2 weeks of each month and stay weeks or a month outside of the town
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or technology area
- Ability to work in a complex sales environment at all levels with negotiation and closing skills
- Fast and flexible strong sales response skills

- A robust IP/IT/Communications technology understanding and networking expertise
- Desire to develop your leadership skills in order to work in a small team unit as a sales leader responsible for the cell development to perform in the VUCA environment working from the Headquarters in São Paulo as the vertical develops
